I tend to tone my makeup down in winter. In summer I go crazy with bold lips, bronzer and illuminator, doing everything I can to sparkle like the disco ball I was born to be. But in winter I tend to mute things a bit – a light flush on the cheeks, and gloss with a touch of colour. How boring, I know, but I don’t feel right with my usual bronze-toned illuminators in winter.
Enter, Dr. LeWinn’s Skin Perfect Anti-Ageing Iluminser. It’s a lovely little tube that squeezes out the tiniest dab of rose illuminator at a time – just the right amount for a quick swipe across the cheekbones. Subtle without being shimmery, chic without being cha cha. Silky formula, not scented, and the rose tint of the pearly cream is flattering on all skin tones – perfect for adding to foundation to brighten drab winter skin, or using under the eye to hide your sins. I think of it as grown up illuminator, and it’s one I would definitely recommend to my Mum, who only learnt about illuminator last year (Mum, if you’re reading this…BUY THIS PRODUCT). Best of all it’s only 24.95 clams, and because you (I) only use a dot at a time the tube should last you (me) right through till next winter.
